It takes a village to raise a child is an African proverb that means that an entire community of people must interact with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment. The villagers look out for the children.
Parents as learning partners - be part of our village!
Research indicates that ongoing parental involvement in children’s learning reaps benefits in many ways, including shaping positive attitudes to learning and supporting student achievement. At St Paul the Apostle School, we aim to work in partnership with our parents to provide opportunities for authentic engagement. We encourage our parents to visit learning spaces , share expertise and experience, interests and hobbies or simply just be part of the learning.
We aim to work in partnership with parents to provide access to specialised assistance and resources for the challenges we face as parents.
